Can I cancel my weekly collection?

Information on how to cancel an in-progress weekly collection.

If you’d like to cancel a weekly collection, our team may be able to do this between the collection taking place on Wednesday at midday, and Thursday 3pm. If you’d like to cancel a collection during this period, just contact us via the in-app chat, or by emailing support@moneyboxapp.com. While we’ll do our best to help, please note that we cannot guarantee cancellation of your collection during busy periods.

After Thursday afternoon, the payment has been submitted to your bank and you will need to contact them to cancel the payment before it leaves your bank account. Payments collected in our Wednesday collection typically leave your bank account on Monday.

Once the funds have left your bank account on Monday, you may still be able to contact your bank on the same day to reverse the payment.

Please note that instant bank transfers cannot be cancelled.
