What to expect if you've recently submitted a request to update your bank details!

If you've already submitted a request to update your details in the app, and are waiting for this to be reviewed, our team will verify this for you within a few working days. Once your details have been verified, your new Direct Debit will typically become active within 5 working days, and you’ll receive an email from us to let you know this is the case.

Occasionally, we may require further information from you before we can approve your request, such as a bank statement for both your new and existing bank accounts.

If your existing account is now closed, you should be able to obtain a closing statement from the bank, or a historical statement for the account to confirm ownership.

Additionally, if you’ve only just opened your new bank account and do not have a statement for this yet, we can also accept an opening letter that confirms your name, account number and sort code.

Either way, these documents will need to show your name, address, and bank account details.
