If you've switched banks using the Current Account Switching Service, here is an overview of how this will affect your Moneybox account.

If you’re changing banks using the Current Account Switch Service, then your details will automatically update whenever you next have a collection take place - so you do not need to manually request to update your bank details.

You can add funds to your upcoming collection total by tapping the ‘Add money’ button in Home tab of the app, and this can be as little as £1. We’ll then collect your deposit(s) on the next available Wednesday, and this will trigger the account update on your Moneybox profile.

If you’re looking to withdraw funds from your Moneybox account(s), this will also be redirected to your new bank account - as this is part of the Account Switch Guarantee.

If you hold a Stocks & Shares ISA, Cash ISA, Junior ISA, General Investment Account, Personal Pension, or one of our Lifetime ISAs, you should be able to deposit via an instant bank transfer once you’ve had a collection take place and your account has switched over. If you’re still experiencing issues, please reach out to the team and we’ll do our best to help!
