To open a Moneybox account, you will need to be at least 18 years old and will also need to be a ‘UK tax resident’. For the majority, this will mean that you live in the UK, however if you're unsure whether this applies to your circumstances you should check with HMRC directly.

Unfortunately we’re unable to offer our services to US persons (US citizens or those who pay tax in the US) at this time.

To open a GIA, Simple Saver, or one of our Notice Accounts, this is all you’ll need! Opening an ISA, LISA or Personal Pension will require a National Insurance number.

We can only accept payments from a UK personal current account registered in your name (or a joint bank account), meaning we’re not able to take payments from business, credit or savings accounts.

For more information on Lifetime ISA eligibility, please see the LISA section of the Help Centre 🔍
