How do I update my linked bank account?

An outline of the steps needed to update your linked bank account, and the type of accounts we're able to link

If you need to change your linked bank account, you can do so in Settings > Tap your name > Bank accounts > Linked account > Request to edit details.

Additionally, if you’re using the current account switch service to move to a new bank, this change will happen automatically when you next have funds collected in one of our weekly collections, meaning you do not need to manually request to change the linked account in the app.

Please also note it’s only possible to set up a Direct Debit with your UK current account, and we aren’t able to link credit, savings, or business accounts.

Once you’ve entered your new bank details in the app, we’ll verify these and your new Direct Debit should be active within 3-5 working days 👍 You’ll receive an email to let you know your new mandate is set up.

Occasionally we’ll need a bit more information before the switch can be approved, such as a recent bank statement. We’ll be in touch via the in-app chat should that happen!
