Most of our accounts can be cancelled within the 30 day (ISAs, GIA, and LISAs) or 14 day (Simple Saver, Reward Savings, and Notice Accounts) cancellation period, which begins once you make your first payment.
For our Personal Pension, this cancellation period starts from when you initially register for the account.
The 1 Year Fixed Rate doesn’t have a cooling off period, and it isn’t possible to close it or withdraw money until the access date shown in the app. Once your fixed term ends and the money is moved out of the product, the 1 Year Fixed Rate will automatically be closed.
To close your Moneybox account before you’ve made any deposits, just head to Settings > Tap your name > Delete account.
Or, once you’ve made a deposit, you can cancel by contacting our Support team via the in-app chat or by emailing support@moneyboxapp.com. The team will ask you to confirm some details before proceeding with the cancellation.
