The Global Property Equities fund invests in over 300 property companies from around the world, across a range of industries from residential housing to shopping centres.
🏦 Cash Trust: Legal & General
The Legal and General Cash Trust Fund invests in a range of money market securities. Instead of investing in shares, the fund deposits most of your money with the banks and financial institutions offering the most competitive interest rates at the time.
🏛️ Overseas Government Bonds: iShares by BlackRock
🏢 Overseas Corporate bonds: iShares by BlackRock
The BlackRock Bond funds invest in two different types of bonds; Government bonds and Corporate Bonds. With bonds, big companies and governments borrow money from people like you and you get the interest and the loan repaid, like an IOU.
You can also choose to make the default global shares fund in our Starting Options Socially Responsible by tapping 'Switch to Socially Responsible global shares fund'. Making this change will switch your global shares fund to:
🐧 Global Shares ESG: Old Mutual
Socially responsible investing is any investing strategy in which values— be they social, moral, environmental — are applied to portfolios and investment strategies. We've partnered with Old Mutual to offer customers the Old Mutual World ESG Index fund, which tracks the MSCI World ESG Leaders Index and holds shares in global companies which are selected based on MSCI’s leading ESG (ethical, social, governance) approach.
In addition to these Starting Options, we offer 5 further tracker funds you can invest in, and also offer investment into a range of ETFs and US Stocks (please note US stocks are currently only available for Stocks & Shares ISA customers).
