How can I pay into the Simple Saver?

As we take all weekly payments by Direct Debit, you’ll need a current account registered in order to make payments into your Simple Saver. Setting up a Direct Debit doesn’t mean you have to commit to recurring payments if you do not want to, and you’re more than welcome to pay in through one-off deposits if you’d prefer!

There’s no weekly limit on the amount you can add to your Simple Saver, and you can pay in up to £85,000 in total.

You can also pay in upwards of £100 from your linked bank account via easy or manual bank transfers. Deposits typically arrive in your Simple Saver account within minutes, but occasionally can take up to 24 hours.

Once processed, you’ll then begin earning interest the next working day.

To make an easy bank transfer in the app, just head to Wealth > Simple Saver > Add money or to Home > Add money on the website. You’ll be redirected to your bank to authorise the payment. 🏦

Alternatively, if you’d like to deposit via manual bank transfer in the app, just head to Wealth > Simple Saver > More > Manual Bank Transfers or Home > Add money on the website to find the payment details for your product, then send money via your linked bank account.

Please note that the payments must come from the bank account you have linked to your Moneybox account. You can check and change your linked bank account in Settings > Tap your name > Bank accounts > Linked account.

If you hold multiple products which support manual bank transfers, please note that each product has a different sort code and account number.

Finally, with our move money feature (Settings > Move money between accounts), if you have a Notice Account with Moneybox, or an ISA/GIA with funds held as Available Cash, you can also move funds from these accounts into your Simple Saver.
