To cancel a transfer that's currently in progress, please get in touch with the team via Settings > Help > Contact us, or by emailing pensions@moneyboxapp.com. We will get in touch with your existing provider to stop the transfer. It is also recommended that you contact your provider regarding this to check that they are able to accept the pension funds back and reinstate your account.
Once the transfer is complete and the money received, you’ll receive a cancellation notice. This also gives you the option to cancel within 30 days. Please note that whilst we can action this, there is no guarantee your old provider will take the pension back and you may need to transfer somewhere else.
Before we send the funds back to your provider, we require confirmation that:
They will reinstate your policy.
Whether they require the exact amount returned to them that we received.
If they require the exact amount returned, and this is not possible due to disinvestment resulting in a shortfall, we require confirmation on how you wish to proceed.
Moneybox cannot guarantee that once funds have been sent for disinvestment that they will equate to the exact value originally received.
