If the app is stating you have less available to withdraw than you were expecting, this is usually because you’ll either need to sell down your investments to cash first, or you have a deposit which is currently pending:

Once you make an investment, this can only be sold again after the initial investment process is complete. This means that any money in the process of being deposited, or rebalanced is not available for withdrawal. You can check when your most recent deposits will be invested in Accounts > Select your account > Recent activity.

In order to withdraw from any of our investment accounts, you’ll first need to sell down your investments to cash, which can then be withdrawn back to your bank account.

If you’re investing in one of our Starting Options, and haven’t customised your portfolio in any way, you’ll have the option to sell down a proportion of your investments in one go by heading to Settings > Withdraw > Tap on your account. Here you should see a blue banner prompting you to sell down your investments - tapping on this will enable you to sell down in proportion.

If you have customised your portfolio, you’ll need to sell down your investments individually, which you can do in Accounts > Tap on your account > Tap on the investments you’d like to sell > Sell.

Either way, sales typically take up to 5 working days to complete, and the funds will be added to your Available Cash - ready to withdraw to your linked bank account.
