At Moneybox we operate on a weekly collection cycle, where funds are set aside throughout the week before being collected on Wednesday and debited from your linked bank account a few days later. Below is a breakdown of exactly how this works:

Step 1 📅

Your upcoming collection total is collected every Wednesday at around midday. At this stage, you’ll be able to see this collection appear in the ‘Recent activity’ section when selecting your account in the Accounts tab.

Step 2 📅

The money leaves your bank account early the following week (usually on the Monday). By the end of the day on Tuesday you'll see your deposit added to your balance.

Step 3 📅

Your money is submitted for investment on the Thursday after it leaves your bank account. You'll be able to see the money you've invested split between each of the funds the following week in the Accounts tab.

🤔 (As each fund settles, the amount allocated from your deposit will be added to the relevant fund in the Accounts tab under 'Portfolio'. This can sometimes span across a few days as the funds can settle at different times).

If you have a Stocks & Shares ISA, Junior ISA, GIA, Pension, or Lifetime ISA, you can also deposit into your account using instant bank transfers. With an instant bank transfer, you can either send your deposit straight to your chosen funds or to your Available Cash, unless you’re depositing to your Pension, in which case all transfers will be invested according to your chosen allocation. If you choose to send the transfer to your allocation, this will be submitted for investment on the next working day.

Your total value seen in the Accounts tab will include all invested totals, inclusive of any gains/losses and fees. Only funds which have been invested and are fully settled are available for withdrawal.
